basic make-up tips and tricks:

hey guys, I have been trying to catch more people's attention by posting more s here is another..
In this post I am going to be using images from the E.L.F. (Eyes Lips Face) website as their images are simple and easy to understand. I would highly recommend E.L.F. as their prices and quality is amazing! I regularly buy from here, if you are on a budget then this is the place to buy all your makeup essentials!

Primer:
you don't have to use a moisturiser and a primer when applying your makeup! using primer as a base is a brilliant tip as is secures your makeup and gives it a longer lasting finish, if you use primer you don't have to double it up with moisturiser, primer alone gives the same effect.
Mineral Infused Face Primer

Brow pencils:
pick a brow pencil that is the same shade as the colour of hair on your brows. I cringe at times when I see girls in the high street who have jet black eye brows when you can tell they are painted on thick and are un-natural, your not trying to make them a completely different colour the main aim is to shape your brows into a more defined and even shape.

Eyeliner Tip:
If it is cold and you feel your eye liner is lighter than it should be and it doesn't seem to apply properly, then warm up the liner by twirling the point on the back of your hand.

Eye Lash Curlers:
I think that these are essential to any girl, whether you have really long lashes or short lashes, they are good for making your lashes have a bit more 'oomph', most of if not all day.
Mechanical Eyelash Curler
Concealer:
Brilliant for dark circles and around the eye area, it brightens your eyes and makes them stand out naturally. It can be used to cover up any imperfections and blemishes instantly, make sure you blend the concealer as it can look blotchy if applied wrong. Set it with powder or foundation and your ready to go!

Lip Stick:
If you have dark eye makeup on then I would recommend to use a nude shade lipstick as it tones down a look but it draws attention to your eyes.

If your eye makeup is light and not too dark then if you like you can try a deep toned lipstick maybe a red or dark pink, I would not recommend really dark tones as it can make your face look washed out.
